Join us for a monthly webinar where we highlight content experts who share information and best practices about aspects of Medicaid Expansion Outreach, Education, and/or Enrollment Considerations. Simultaneous Spanish interpretation is offered at every webinar. Our next webinar is titled Tailored Plan Implications for Medicaid Expansion Enrollees and will be held on Thursday, September 12th at 2:30pm.
Medicaid Expansion Partner Engagement Sessions:
The Medicaid Expansion Partner Engagement Sessions are an opportunity for community organizations and enrollment assisters to share to share their successes, concerns, and experiences with the Expansion process while connecting with others across the state who are engaged in this work. Each month, we provide updates about policies or resources, troubleshoot common issues, and brainstorm about how to more effectively connect eligible North Carolinians to coverage through Expansion.
There are two partner engagement sessions each month, the first geared toward enrollment assisters (ex: Navigators or Certified Application Counselors) who help individuals apply for Medicaid and/or Marketplace coverage. The second session is geared toward community partners involved in outreach efforts related to Medicaid Expansion. The partner engagement sessions are held of the first Wednesday and Thursday of each month, respectively, and attendees are welcome to join one or both sessions.
Medicaid Expansion Regional Trainings:
In January through March of 2024, Care Share Health Alliance, the NC Community Health Center Association, and the NC Navigator Consortium offered Medicaid Expansion Regional Trainings to provide community partners with Medicaid 101 and Medicaid Expansion content. Below you will find the training materials presented at each of the trainings.
