Community Based Organizations (CBOs) are public or private nonprofit organizations of demonstrated effectiveness that are representative of a community or significant segments of a community; and provide educational or related services to individuals in the community.
Some examples of CBOs are food banks, interpersonal violence shelters, housing assistance agencies, and transportation service providers.
Equity+ Network provides a variety of resources to help CBOs best serve their communities.
